Frederick Health Urgent Care

Like most people, I dread going to Urgent Care. That said, Frederick Health Urgent Care completely changed my perspective yesterday. I had the best experience. From the moment I walked through the door until I was discharged, every single person I came in contact with was incredibly kind/smiled, courteous, knowledgeable and the facility was very tidy. My wait time was less than 15 minutes to be seen and both the nurse practitioner and doctor I saw were great; taking their time with me and were thorough in their procedures/diagnosis! It was such a pleasant experience and the meds have helped my sinus and ear infection tremendously. Just thought I should share. If you're in need of Urgent Care, I highly recommend Frederick Health! They are doing an excellent job. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This place is why I have lost faith in doctors. Constant pain I’ve had in my tonsil and have been seen twice to explain there is tonsil stones or some kind of puss from recently being sick. Told it was viral and they didn’t see anything in it. How can I see more with a dirty mirror, iPhone flash light, and a q tip tip as well as a water flosser to attempt to get it out. Seen an ent doctor confirmed what I had said. We all don’t necessarily need degrees to see what’s there, just didn’t feel heard.

The team of health care professionals at this location are terrific. Both the front office staff and the health care professionals go above and beyond taking care of their patients. I would highly recommend this place to everyone

I just came from a consultation with Dr. Chase E. Duckwall, PA-C, and it's very sad to see a doctor who doesn't even work out of vocation. He didn't tell me absolutely anything. I went to see him just so he could listen to me talk about the severe back pain I have (I have a level 8 on the pain scale), and for him to do nothing and simply give me a medical leave so I can't go to work is disheartening. It's sad to see that he only works for money. I recommend not going to that place or going to another doctor instead.

More than one staff makes this place horrible but the worst is Karen. Yes, that's her real name, Karen. She treats you like she's being bothered as if she's not at work. Don't go there close to closing, the nurses will treat you as if you are in their way and they will rush you out the door. Karen works at the front desk and she is mean, rude, non empathetic, dismissive, non caring etc. and the corporation has known this for years and keeps her there and allows her to treat the community like crap. I will never go there ever again. Frederick Health as a whole treats the community like we are a bother. They have been known for this for years and I don't see change anywhere in the near future so I will be finding other providers in the area.
