Freddie Verzosa, MD, MPH

BEWARE! DO NOT GO! I had the worst doctor experience of my life with Dr. Freddie Verzosa. I went in for an annual physical on 6/19, assuming my insurance will cover everything. He comes in and we chat for a bit. He seems a bit rushed without good bedside manner. Maybe he had a busy/bad day. No big deal. He orders some routine blood tests for a few things I was on the lower spectrum of, which I was concerned about. He promises to call to walk me through it to alleviate my concern. Instead, a few days later, he just sends me what looks like an automated message without much explanation. I ask a few follow up questions, and he essentially sends me the same automated copy/pasted message without much help. Not what I want in a PCP, but I can just go see a specialist or someone else. Not great

Dr Verzosa is the best. He’s incredibly friendly, reassuring, informative, compassionate and just very very good at his job. He’s by far the best doctor I’ve ever had

Dr. Verzosa provides great care each time. He explains, in clear detail, all vaccinations and preventive care measures available to me. Also listens thoroughly to my questions and concerns.

I have been seeing "Freddie" for the past 5 years as my primary care physician. Dr. Verzosa is thorough and thoughtful every time I see him whether it's for my yearly check-up or for something spur of the moment that needs medical attention. I like his proactive approach and his encouragement for me to be engaged in my own healthcare and healthy living. I know he's looking out for me.
