Was in ER on 6/15 the nurse injected epinephrine in my IV and the Er doctor admitted me into the hospital on heart floor only went to Er for rash that was on my arm since 6/6 the doctor on the heart floor was prescribing me meds that was keeping my heart rate low even though I told them I couldn't take that medicine. I seen two other heart specialist one didn't know why I was referred to him cause there wasn't anything on my CT scan the other took all my medicine. And put in may medical chart he had been monitoring me and my other medical issues I saw that doctor one time and I only went because I wanted to know why I was made and appointment to see him. This was the next year in March of 2023.Very bad experience.

Rudest people I've ever dealt with in their cardiac cath lab. If you like disgruntled, snarky, unhappy employees who are incredibly disrespectful, arrogant and rude these are your people. Dodged a bullet and left before my procedure. They don't even know the most basic things, like how to monitor or manage blood pressure. They are the most ageist, sexist people I've ever dealt with. It's obvious there is a lack of leadership in this department.

Save yourself and go to St. Vincent. You'll be sent there anyways. We have been put on the back burner since we started seeing these docs. He was scheduled for triple bypass and valve replacement and 2vweeks before surgery, after being accepted they called and canceled his surgery. Called St. V's and never had gotten his referral from them. Just very unprofessional and i highly suggest you go elsewhere. Kudos to the ones who had a good experience, we sure didn't.

After dealing with the other "St. Heart- Hospital" in Indy for almost 30 years with my father, we decided to go with Franciscan St. Francis Heart Center when my mother developed heart issues. What a difference! There was no feeling like we were just another "patient on a conveyor belt". Every Dr & nurse we'd spoken with were all on the same page & were happy to answer our questions, and not in a "Hurry up, I need to get onto my next patient" manner. Bottom Line, - It's like comparing a Cadilac & a Lamborghini. Both are competent, good places, but when it comes down to focusing on the patient as a person & compassion , St. Francis is just on another level.
