Fort Walton Rehabilitation Center

I agree with the guy who said this place is phenomenal--it is! My mom had to go there for three weeks after a very bad fall in the assisted living where she lives. She went from the hospital to Ft Walton Rehab and my sister and I were very pleased. There were always so many people around and it was active, lively, and fun! The staff were SO NICE and helpful! It was clean, decent food, good smells, and tons of support for everything. I loved it and wish she could stay there forever! Thank you, Ft. Walton Rehab!

At first, I was hesitant on leaving my mom in a rehabilitation center all by herself, but after just the first day, those worries were put to rest. On behalf of my mom, I would like to extend my deepest gratitude and generosity to everyone who was involved in my mom's care during her stay. This facility is absolutely phenomenal, and I am a tough customer. Here's what I like about it: each one of the rehab. rooms is private (that's a rarity), every room has a large screen t.v., the patient has his or her own bathroom, and the patient can independently control the temperature in their own room. The staff is more pleasant than other facility where my family member has been a patient. The grounds are well-kept, and I definitely would not consider placing my loved one in any other facility. It's much improved from previous years. If you, or you know someone, who had a not so good experience several years ago, I'd give it another try. It has changed for the better. Great job!

I moved my dad from another local facility to Fort Walton Rehabilitation Center in April of 2024. He was so relaxed there and had his favorite CNA's and nurses. The care he was given by all staff members, was fantastic. He was treated like a member of the family. He liked being able to sit outside in the front or in the court yard. Communication by the staff to me was excellent. I highly recommend taking your loved one here for long term care.

Throughout the years, I have been to visit a few friends in different care facilities. None are perfect but Fort Walton Beach Rehab is by far the best. It’s clean, there isn’t an odor, the employees are nice and the care is great. When I’m asked where someone should go, I do not hesitate before recommending this facility.
