Used this practice years ago with good success but upon return (condition started to get worse) the experience was just bad. New doctor and staff not knowing what they are doing. Prescribed drugs were never authorized by the doctor so I had issues with my pharmacy getting my medication. Called dermatology to fix that. They said they will tell the doctor but it was never fixed so I never got my prescribed medication. I started getting very strange calls right after the visit from some online pharmacy. I did extensive blood work and doctor never called back to discuss. I was also told that first treatments would be done at the office but instead they called me and left a message that if I wanted to start treatment I HAVE TO call some pharmacy (not my pharmacy!) and buy medication from them a

I happen to read the negative reviews about this Office, they must be talking about some other Office! I came down with a serious case of psoriasis and a horrendous pain of psoriatic arthritis! I called for an appointment, but I have to wait a month, they told me to please check in every day times in case there’s a cancellation, and lo and behold. They squeezed me in early! As I am a previous patient there, I wanted to see Dr.Tokeran but couldn’t, so I saw Dr O’shea! He looked me over, so I was in a bad shape, prescribe some heavy duty doses of prednisone, and a special cream, offered me the light booth, but I refused because I work outside and the sun always seems to help quite a bit! but within three days of seeing Dr O’shea I was looking better and feeling better! Staff is courteous and friendly. I really like this office.

An Insurance or Medical BUSINESS Entity has taken over this practice. I was with one Doctor here for about 20 years. COVID, two different surgeries, rehab, etc. Called today to get back to my regular checks and was told by the office I am considered a new patient? I liked this particular Dr and can't believe on a personal level this doctor would turn down a patient even if it has been a few years since I've been there. If not a medical practice is this a good business practice, to turn down repeat clients. No other reason(s) provided just only time. Do the individual doctors know what is going on? Why don't the Doctors run their own practice and not fall in lockstep with the insurance industry. I do not recommend this practice, as a patient you WILL NOT BE a priority, imo. IMPORTANT

This is no longer Abington Dermatology - it’s now part of Forefront Dermatology and it’s terrible. No one seems to know what’s going on. If you try to call the office you wait on hold for 30 minutes and then you are transferred to an offshore location. This used to be a great patient friendly practice…..not any more. It’s really sad how this practice has gone down hill so quickly. I suggest you find another dermatologist.
