For Eyes

My 88-year-old dad lives at Sunrise Senior Living in Frederick. He broke his glasses, so I drove over to For Eyes. A polite, pleasant gentleman quickly repaired and cleaned the glasses and didn't charge a penny! I was back at Sunrise with my dad less than 30 minutes after I left, and my dad couldn't believe how quickly his glasses were fixed! Thanks so much! Wishing you all of God's blessings!

Appoint confirmed, completed check in days ahead of time. Construction site next door impedes parking lot entrance, had to loop around. Not five minutes late and was told to reschedule. I was looking forward to meeting this newest doctor, as I’ve been coming to this location through three doctors now, and I was curious what the story would be this time around. But I have lost all patience with these clowns. I won’t waste any more time getting into details about the sales side and their process. You have plenty of options that require less drama, take an appointment anywhere but here.

Booking was easy, fast and the appointment was a breeze too! The Dr was very thorough and attentive. Very kind staff and I love my new glasses! Would definitely come here again.

I just received the best most comprehensive eye exam I've ever had. The doctor explained everything to be aware of, gave me options and things to look out for, etc. We went through my retinal scan (pictures) and he explained what we were looking at (as well as what he looks for). The eye exam for my glasses prescription was thorough and for the first time ever I didn't have to stop and wonder (or worry) about which was more clear - "1 or 2". You all know the drill. The young lady helping with my frames and ordering glasses was delightful. The technology used was top notch throughout my visit and again every option was fully explained. Check in and through the exam was great. Frames selection and beyond, not so much. The lense and frame pricing wasn't explained very well, barely at all actually, and was constantly told "we're running a sale I can probably get it for you cheaper than through insurance". No help or guidance on how to chose the right frame size for my face, just here you go pick on out. Get to my car to realize they tack on a $29 "protection" plan they made no mention of nor did I approve; the saleswoman did remove it without hesitation. To be clear she was friendly enough, but about as helpful as a wet tissue. The bill breakdown is convoluted and I can't make heads or tails of why the prices and discounts listed are what they are.
