Food City Pharmacy

Fast lines. Great. Unfortunately the young woman (red patch/birthmark on her chin) was so far beyond unprofessional. Cursed every few words, casually, and happy to do so, and started cursing about a coworker. No clue who she was mad at. Could have been a joke. Extremely uncomfortable. I had no idea how to respond and I was thankful I could leave quickly.

Got my dog prescription filled. A phone call was not successful to ask a question. The man on other end was rude. BUT in person they were helpful and my prescription was filled using good Rx. I will use them again. UPDATE: July 2025. Food City no longer accepts Good Rx for dog prescriptions. When I went to pick up prescription expecting to pay the Good Rx price of $42.00 I was charged $72.00. Had no choice but to pay it. Wish I had been told before the order was placed. I may still have my dog prescription (actually same as a human drug for seizures) filled at Food City but not before I check the prices at other pharmacies.

Avoid this pharmacy if at all possible. The pharmacist is extremely rude. 90% of the time i call I get half of a sentence out and am them told how short staffed they are, and someone has always called out. I am usually told (in an extremely rude tone) it will be at least 8hrs to days before a prescription can be filled. I also have had more than 4 occasions in which i ask a question and i am sarcastically told a short answer and ended with a "thank you" and hung up on. I dont know if this guys just hates his job, but it is a constant experience, not a one time thing.

I would just like to let you know that me and my wife shop at this location every week and love the store and staff! However I needed to ask the pharmacist a question and he was standing at drive through window helping another customer, I waited patiently at the counter until he got finished with them and the pulled away, i the said excuse me I have a question, he then turned around a throwing his hand up at me while I was speaking and in a loud voice said STOP! I will help you in a minute! Before I could say anything else he turned around and stared out the window. I stood there in shock for about 1 minutes and as I walked away I saw a car pull up to the window. So the gentleman that was in the pharmacy about 9am on 6-3 was the most rude and hateful person I’ve ever seen in that store. My

I have been to the ft o pharmacy two times & the pharmacist was very rude. I will not use that guy again. He was there on Tues. May 27 at 9am.
