Focused Care at Summer Place

This facility needs to be shut down! Do not leave your loved ones at this place. My father was sent to Summer Place for Wound Care and Physical Therapy 2x day. He was doing really well when he arrived. His caregiver stayed with him at night. Thank goodness. The staff was rude to her and wanted to know why she had not bathed him? This is not her job while he's in the hospital. I called twice the first night to check on him. No one answered the phone. I called all during the week trying to speak to the Dr. as well as the PT. I would call and no one would call back. I found out at the end of the week, there was not even a PT on site. So, they accepted my Father knowing that there was no one to give him his PT. There was a nice OT who would walk him down the hall trying to do someth

Navigating challenging personal circumstances can be incredibly difficult, but the social worker's compassion, expertise, and unwavering dedication made a significant difference. She provided clear guidance, empathetic listening, and practical solutions that truly helped me through a tough period. The social worker’s ability to connect me with the right resources and advocate on my behalf was invaluable. I am deeply appreciative of her professionalism and genuine care.

The building is excellent always clean and smells clean. The atmosphere at the facility pleasant. The resident attend activities in the facility and out of facility. The staff is very knowledgeable and professional.. This is definitely a place to bring your love one for short term or long term stay.

The activities at Focused Care at Summer Place are amazing. Residents stay engaged, active, and smiling every day. You can tell a lot of love and effort goes into planning meaningful activities.

I had a great experience with the care and support provided by Cindy Alexander. She went above and beyond for the needs of my grandmother and I am forever grateful for her gentle spirit, advocacy and attention to my grandmother physiological needs.
