My interaction with Dr. Alabi for asthma was positive. Trying to contact the staff for appointments or prescriptions not received is extremely frustrating. My prescription dosage was increased, at the checkout desk, I reminded the clerk that it was to go to my Mail order prescription company, noting the dosage had been increased. I waited six days & discovered my mail order pharmacy hadn’t even received the updated prescription. I had to go into the clinic to resolve an issue that should have been resolved by phone. This should not happen.

Not only did the doctors at Florida Lung do absolutely nothing to help with my persistent cough after 3 different appointments, they have also made it incredibly difficult to navigate their systems or interact with them every single time I have tried to. After getting bills in the mail in 2025 from appointments in 2022 and 2023, I tried logging on to pay them online and could not access my account. After calling, I was told by their AI system I had no bill to pay. After receiving the same bill again this year for those appointments, I called again and was once again told I had no bill to pay; I had to talk to 2 different departments before finding out that somehow, no one has any record of these bills. I had already paid a copay for both appointments when they occurred, and now I am going

I got several voice mails to confirm my appt. When at my appointment I asked but didn’t get a clear answer to best way to confirm . A button on the vm to call back ? I tried going to hella.com mentioned in voicemail. Wasn’t successful. I guess call the office . Checking in was bumpy . Nothing big I did the pad to key in my info. I owed $$. It said scan my card I found no way yo don that Went to the front desk ask. They asked for my card. Then said it dudn mt work handing it back to me and asking for a different card. I learned 1 number was typed in wrong so it did work. I always appreciate Jeniffer.

Dr Alabi is such a special person & a gifted physician. I never feel rushed & always feel cared for. Staff always helpful too. My only ding is difficulty reaching live person. I was running late for appt. Leaving messsge or texting while driving on hwy 50 was not an option.

I had a very disappointing experience with the administrative side of this pulmonology practice. After being prescribed a necessary medication following trials and doctor visits, the office repeatedly failed to respond to requests from my insurance company, my pharmacy, and the medication’s patient assistance program (MyWay) for required prior authorization and enrollment forms. I’ve called multiple times over weeks/months, left detailed messages (including one for a supervisor over a week ago with no callback), sent written requests, and followed up persistently—yet nothing gets done. The insurance and pharmacy confirmed they’re waiting solely on this office to submit paperwork, but the staff either doesn’t respond or promises action that never happens. This has caused significant delays
