What a bright and friendly place! While it has certainly undergone a major transformation these past few years, the place also smells very clean! You can hardly tell it’s a retirement home. It has nice bright rooms and well maintained carpet and floors. Please keep up the appearance! It is truly breathtaking considering how it once looked. And the receptionist is always friendly and resourceful. Thank you Beth!

Staff is always attentive to the needs of my mom. They treat her with respect and dignity. My mom also says that the staff are always there for her. They know her likes for example hot coffee and they accommodate her. The facility is always clean, no odors. I made a great decision having my mom at Fishkill. She is thriving . I thank the caring staff. All staff say hello, nurses, aides, cleaning . I am a retired social worker and have visited many facilities throughout my career. I made the right decision ! Thank you !

Very caring and patient staff, my mom considered them all good friends. (Veronica, Dale, Dierdre, Amanda, Brianna, Armando, Ben, Jackie, Sara, Isaiah, Wanda, Allison, Laura - too many to name, sorry if I missed a few!) Additionally, Nancy Lynn Juras helped us through every step of finance, Medicaid, etc. also with a caring and patience.

This nursing home has made many improvements since my wife first came here a year ago. They have new floors through out the place and it appears to be well managed by their cleaning staff. The receptionist is always friendly and helpful and I love the new look the building has put on itself. If I should ever need long term care for myself I would move here.

As the place through out the week is usually well maintained and smelling clean I can’t always say the same for weekends when I visit. I don’t usually post negative reviews but this happens every weekend and I have complained to the front desk woman and it still happens. There is a toilet paper roll with crud of some sort on it. No one could help. I did see a cleaner but she told me she did not have the toilet paper the bathroom needed so she gave me paper towels. Perhaps there should be management working on weekends to make sure staff is doing the work of cleaning. The place looks better during the week but the weekends need better help because no one seems to clean the men’s room
