FirstHealth Convenient Care - Raeford

Five stars for the team here. We came in for my child and were beyond impressed with the care we received. Special thanks to Warren and Michael for their exceptional bedside manner; they were both incredibly kind and handled my child’s care with great sensitivity. Truly a great community resource.

I would like to sincerely thank Mr. Warren and Dr. K for the exceptional care I received today while I was not feeling well. Their professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine concern made a difficult day much easier. I truly appreciate the time they took to listen, evaluate thoroughly, and ensure I was well taken care of.

We come here often before going to the emergency room because the process is usually quick, efficient, and the staff is always extremely helpful. Today, I was here with my daughter and although the wait was long, about two hours, I completely understood and had no issue with that. Once we were brought back, everyone we interacted with from check in to the nurse to the doctor was kind, professional, and amazing as always. What truly upset me today was what we experienced while sitting in the treatment room waiting for my daughter to be seen. We could clearly hear one of the employees, the woman sitting behind the glass window who we did not interact with, yelling, cussing, and aggressively expressing frustration about patients being upset over the wait time. I was seen today, the receptionists were very kind/helpful. However, the "nurse/tech" (Gini or Geney. She was older, had short hair and arm tattoos) was the MOST unprofessional, disrespectful healthcare personnel I have EVER interacted with in my 7 years of working in healthcare. She was fake nice and acted like she cared during our encounter and then proceeded to mock me and make fun of me, just a few feet outside of the room I was waiting in. I heard everything. She mocked my voice and my symptoms. She stated "I wish I could really write on there charts what I really think of these patients, but then I wouldn't have a job" and proceeded to laugh and think she was just so hilarious. Shame on her other coworkers around her for allowing her to behave that way and speak about patients like

The physician assistants/nurse practitioners at this specific location do NOT HEAR THEIR PATIENTS. They do NOT listen to what the patients are saying. They need to STOP arguing with patients. LISTEN to the PATIENTS concerns. These “medical professionals” always seem to misdiagnose patients and yet still get their JOB when they are WRONG, 80% of the time they are WRONG! Either train these people better or clean house and get better in there!
