I dont like to write a review after one experience, but I’ve been a patient for several years now… (often times visiting once a week) so I figured it was time to leave a comment. Dr. Swami is one of my favorite physicians. His bedside manner is spectacular and it’s really made what should be a stressful situation quite manageable. Not all doctors put in thought to their patient interactions and it often leads to doubt or mistrust. I’ve never felt that way here. The staff is great about explaining treatment options, answering questions, and listening to patient feedback. I feel like it’s more of a cooperative approach to dealing with ongoing symptoms vs the traditional method of lumping all patients into one generic group and applying blanket treatment. Let me start by saying the doctor and medical staff are great. The office staff on the other hand, is unprofessional and downright rude. I called a couple months ago to see what my out of pocket cost would be for allergy shots. They were supposed to call me back in February with test results and to tell me my portion. They never did. I called my insurance and they told me the info I needed. Well, the lady I spoke to at First Coast Allergy told me something different. I was trying to tell her what my insurance said but she cut me off and put me on hold. When she came back I asked to speak to the office manager. She told me she would have her call me back. Nope. The allergy shot works like a charm. Text upon arrival. Wait 5 -10 minutes and you will receive a text telling you are next. Enter building. Get your shot. Take paperwork to front desk. Pay co-pay. And Bob's your uncle!
