FastMed Urgent Care

Staff was initially rude but I won’t say who because I think we miscommunicated at first but we got it back on track and finished on a good note. I did have a little bit of a wait, but not too long (maybe 15-20 minutes.) The actual time in the room with the aid (or nurse, not sure) and doc was less than the time I waited to see them. I found that humorous. I have no complaints about that though because what I needed was something that was supposed to be quick The cost for the physical is $95 I believe, which in my opinion is astronomical. The TB test was like $39. Which I guess isn’t as bad but that is only one test plus one read. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I have nothing to compare these prices to because I have health insurance and I only had to pay out of pocket because I needed for work. So I had to get a TB screening and CVS Minute Clinic canceled my appointment. I called Fast Med and the person on the phone was pleasant and told me I could come in for the TB test. When I arrived they had mask available and I was greeted pleasantly. I checked in and paid for my test. I waited about 15 minutes and was seen and given part 1 of my test. I was told to come back in 48 hours. When I arrived for my 2nd appointment I was greeted pleasantly after I got to the counter. They couldn’t find my paperwork and asked me what the front desk person I worked with before looked like and I gave a description. After about 10 minutes they found my paperwork and checked my arm out in the waiting room. I was given my paperwork and sent on my way. Overall, an ok experience. The door wasn’t

I don't know that I've ever been seen so quickly and had such a positive experience at urgent care. The front desk staff were kind and courteous and the PA I saw (Thomas Juopperi) was incredibly thorough. I was diagnosed with the flu, and he took the time to ask me questions and provide thorough explanations on the best possible medications. I really appreciate his kind and funny demeanor on a day when I felt at my absolute worst. I felt like I was in great hands. Thank you!

I was referred to FastMed Urgent care by my daughter and son-in-law who are residents of Durham. As a family we are very impressed by their compassion for the sickly, their quick accurate diagnosis and professional plan or referral of the patient to the proper professional if they cannot treat the condition themselves. I highly recommend this Urgent care facility and their warm, caring staff.

The front counter in-take Mrs. Nahcole was very kind, sweet and very helpful n went out her way in many ways to make you feel comfortable n the process very easy and fast. She is wonderful n actually made my day better with out her knowing. We need more people like her. Great job hunny you are going to go far in life.
