Fast Pace Health Urgent Care - Maysville - KY

Normally, we have had great experiences here. Yesterday was horrible. After being checked in at 9:15am, my son (sick with flu) was overlooked as they took other patients back ahead of him for 2.5 hours. Once we finally got back to the exam room, we waited another hour just for a nurse to come tell us that the dr would be "tied up with something" and it was still going to be a while. Sounded as if she was insinuating we should just go. My son was sick and absolutely miserable, hence us being there in the first place! I also had my 3 yo daughter with us. It was just an absolute mess and seemed like none of the staff were concerned about the wellbeing of my 7 year old.

I needed to complete a pre-employment drug screen and wanted to get it done straight away. There was a little wait with a few ahead of me, but I was still able to get in and out in about an hour without having to make an appointment ahead of time. Facility is clean and there is hand sanitizer readily available when you check in. Staff was friendly and helpful.

People were terribly rude and unkind. I waited two hours to barely get checked out. The doctor didn’t seem to be experienced at all . She did check my breathing but I was told a different thing from what she told me after leaving there and getting a second opinion. The nurse that took my swabs and asked questions was by far the most hateful meanest person I’ve encountered in my life. I hope she feels good about treating sick people as if they are not humans with feelings. It was very clear she didn’t like her job and unfortunately, patients are the ones who suffer because of people like her. There is no need for a person to be in healthcare taking care of others just to turn around and treat them with such rude and nasty behavior!!!

If you are sick and miserable, and do not want to wait at least two hours to be seen…..then go somewhere else. I visited here yesterday, and my appointment time was 10:50am. I wasn’t seen by a doctor (nurse practitioner) until 12:47pm. O complained and the practitioner indicated that she was the only one working and apologized for the wait. It isn’t the workers fault. The fault falls directly on the management. This is the third time I used this location and have always had a long wait time but yesterday was just totally unbelievable setting there completely miserable in a room full of other coughing people for nearly two hours. Management needs to either step up the game here with adequate help or new management needs to be in place.

I got cut yesterday, as soon as I examined the cut on my hand I knew I needed stitches, i am not a fan of going to the is emergency room. My daughter suggested going to fast pace, i was pleasantly surprised. They got me in took care of me! The staff is a number one
