Fast Pace Health Urgent Care - Independence - LA

This is my first and LAST time at fast pace urgent care! I only came to have a drug screen completed and just so happen I have my child with me. The lady at the front desk, was very rude and says, “who brings their kid with them anyways?!” I said, to her well it wasn’t stated no where on the intake information NO kids allowed. She was very rude and needs to find a better avenue of communicating her opinion to patients (IF SHES THE 1st PERSON OF CONTACT via business)! So please I advise if you’re a parent with kid(s) leave them outside or something because she can’t register me until someone comes up here to watch mine!

I kind of felt like I was back in Covid days. The lady behind the glass was sitting way to the side of the opening. All registration was done on my phone. Then she gave me a sheet of paper on a clipboard to fill out. I then had to get a pen out of a community cup (contamination risk??). This was a mental health evaluation form. Other than stress from the registration process, I had been stable when I walked in. This form was not an option, but a requirement to be seen. The lady behind the glass advised that everyone had to complete it, even employees. I didn’t was long after all the procedures were finished. Was seen by a nurse practitioner. She was very friendly and thorough, completing the preliminary exam. She diagnosed my problem gave me some medication to pick up at the pharmacy and I

I was in pain and didnt feel like driving out to the hospital to see my family doctor. I thought I was having a kidney stone. Took a bit of time to register and maybe 15 min wait and then back to see the doctor. Told them what was going on, the bleeding and severe pain and they took a sample from me. Checked it out and said I had a urinary tract infection. Called a prescription in and they had it when I went there and was filling it. Now that was fast. From check in, to the nurse and the doc, all great friendly people. My pain starter going away within a couple hours of starting the antibiotic.

Was treated with respect by everyone who assisted me to get the medical attention I needed. They went above and beyond to get me the meds I needed. They listened to my needs and concerns and explained everything so I could understand the medical plan they were working on for me. And I will use them again.

Amazing place amazing people. NO Wendy took me serious with my pain even though there were no visible signs of trauma or an accident that led to my sudden foot pain. I highly recommend Pace for your urgent care needs.
