Farmingdale Physical Therapy East

Having recently been diagnosed with a complete tear of my rotator cuff, and surgery not a good option because of age, my orthopedist recommended physical therapy and referred me to John Dugan of Farmingdale Physical Therapy. The appointment process was easy, the staff extremely friendly and helpful and the facility convenient and very well equipped. After nearly three months of personalized therapy overseen by John at every step, I'm finally free of pain and fully functional again. I give John who is the consummate professional at the top of his game and the entire staff at Farmingdale Physical Therapy my highest five-star rating.

They are excellent. They make you feel welcome. The physical therapists are extremely knowledgeable. The place is clean. Each patient gets their own little space which gives them some privacy when getting heat or ice, and when the therapist works on them and when you are doing some of the exercises. They spend a good amount of time with each patient, too. I was worried because I had to find a new physical therapist after 14 years with the same one. I had no idea how they would compare. Farmingdale PT made me almost forget about him. And that is the highest compliment I can pay a physical therapist.

A friend of mine recommended Farmingdale Physical Therapy location years ago when I was unhappy with another place. My husband and I have since been treated here for several injuries. Each time the owner, John Dugan, and his therapists were extremely knowledgeable and treated us with compassion and professionalism. They made suggestions to help improve our recovery and provide updates to our doctors. We would highly recommend this facility and any of the therapists employed there. The front desk will always do what they can to accommodate your appointments to your schedule. We are happy that they now have a second location! They are THE BEST!

I have used 3 different Phylical Therapy facilities & found Farmingdale PT to be the best. They are all professionals & treat you like family. They have offered great advise before, during , and after surgery & to help improve your health. The equipment is up to date, and everything is clean. The tables are private if needs to be. I would recommend Farmingdale PT.

I have to agree with other reviewer down below. The staff is courteous and friendly, however after two visits and consulting both of my doctors, we decided this place just doesn't seem attentive or serious enough about the work needed. It seemed like a total of twenty minutes on exercises and focused on heat and tens--both I do at home. Left both days without any take home exercises. Waited in between exercises too long. PT was nice but only worked briefly with you. Why drive the distance to a place when there are multiple PT centers in every town. My doctor found me a place he knew and approved of two a miles from home. Now I'm loaded up with home exercises and not wasting my set amount of insurance approved treatments --shelling out my copays on weak PT places. Find out what you need to
