Family Plus Dental Center

My appointment was at 9am, the bridge was up so I tried to call at 9:01, no answer. I arrived and signed in at 9:09. Around 9:35, I realized that nobody else in the waiting room had been called either, I went up and asked around what time I’d be getting called as I had to go to work at 12, I was advised to reschedule if I couldnt wait because it was likely going to take long. It turns out that while they set appointments, they work on a first come first serve basis, meaning people show up early and skip the appointments scheduled prior to them. I was informed that even though I had the first appointment of the day, two people scheduled later in the day showed up before 9am (the office opens at 9) and were allowed to override the scheduled appointment that I had. My appointment was at 3 pm. I waited OVER AN HOUR to be seen. This is absolutely ridiculous. When I came for my cleaning a week ago, they finally saw me 45 minutes past my appointment time. There is a significant language barrier and made it incredibly difficult and frustrating to get a diagnosis. During my cleaning last week, the woman soaked my face with water because she dropped something while cleaning my teeth. This is the worst dental office I have ever been to. Never have I ever been forced to wait OVER AN HOUR to be seen. They are not respectful of their patients’ time and are inept in general. I will never be coming back again. This place is a perfect example of a terrible dental office. I will be more than happy to find a better one!

Family Plus Dental Centers are really great at dealing with patients showing consideration, compassionate ,and understanding.

Staff and dentist are very nice but they tried to say we needed 6-7 fillings between 2 patients (fiancée and I). We agreed to 3 fillings. 2 for me and 1 for her. They ended up only doing 1 for me (they figured I only needed 1 instead of 2 around that tooth during procedure). Had pains from filling for the next 2 weeks. Had to go to another dentist to get the filling fix. It happened to both my fiancée and I, where we both experienced pain at the filling site after procedure. The second dentist office said we only need that 1 filling, not the extra 5 they claimed we needed and they had to fix the bad filling they did. Not a fan of posting bad reviews but it had to be said that they tried to claim way more fillings than actually needed AND the ones they did were not good unfortunately
