I had a wonderful experience at this dental practice. From the moment I arrived, I was promptly taken back for my appointment, which I truly appreciated. The doctor was exceptionally polite and kind, and the entire staff was warm and welcoming. The dental hygienist was friendly, easygoing, and made the visit very comfortable. They took the time to explain any future treatment needed and allowed me to decide on the timing with absolutely no pressure. Overall, the team is professional, caring, and inviting - I would highly recommend this practice!

We recently moved to the area and decided to try this clinic. The staff were very friendly and professional, which we truly appreciated. The only downside was that our first visit took nearly two hours for the check and scans. Hopefully, the process can be made a bit more efficient in the future.

During my first visit to Family Dentistry of Short Pump on January 28, 2026 I met Dr. Macilwaine who would take care of the missing filling in my right front tooth. After numbing the area, he proceeded to fill the area and, after wishing me a pleasant afternoon, I left his office feeling comfortable and well taken care of. I made a good choice selecting Family Dentistry.

Family Denistry of Short Pump is great! All the staff are friendly and do an amazing Job! The Denist there are great as well. They take very good care of their patients. Highly recommend!
