Family Dental of Virginia - Hampton

The front office staff is not as warm and welcoming as you would want your staff to be. There is always a minimum of 4 of them up there, none of the smile, I’ve been here 3 times and have never been greeted, and everyone acts like they are too busy to answer basic questions( not sure if it’s because they primarily serve Medicaid pts or that’s just their overall disposition). However, a stark contrast to that is the back of the house. Very kind, Dr. Anna and her assistant were very friendly and helpful. They talked me through every single step and were very accommodating. If you can get through the women at the front desk, all and all I you’ll have a good experience.

This place was horrible far as everything.. walk in was nasty, floor dirty ,restroom filthy ..place just nasty for it to be a dentist office.. waited almost 2 hours to be seen .. the Doctor was ok but his helpers were talking about everything that we didn’t need to hear, one of them touching trash cans with the same gloves she was working in..I will never come here for service NEVER!!!

I had a 2:00 appointment 2:49 I’m still sitting here everyone came after me are gone and yes I know it’s different doctors! Coming back to do the same thing over because they lost my cap!! Every time I come here it’s a bad experience! From the dentist trying to fix a cavity when I needed a root canal instead! My tooth been hurting going on six weeks from the temporary cap! I wouldn’t my dog here!!! If I didn’t want them to fix what they messed up I would NEVER come back here!!!!!! Unprofessional at its best!!!!!!

Everyone was very professional. The doctor/ dentist was customer friendly. I expected to have a lot of pain but negative was my gain. I did not have any aftershocks, and the whole experience was painless. It is very rare to find a dentist who stays on task 100% of the time. The fees were reasonable and explained in detail. Continue to serve the people. The front desk made you feel at home and welcome. You can get an immediate appointment without having to wait for a week.

Dr. H was very nice, but we was in the Too Long.. We was there about three hours. Dr. H was from one room to another helping other dentists. That entirely to much for one person . Even a doctor can get tired out!! My son had to wait about 30 minutes. Before the doctor came. Her and her staff was very apologize for the wait. When she finally got back to my son she did a good job filling his teeth. Not sure if I return. But thanks anyway
