Family Dental Care of Milford

I came in with a tooth infection and was on antibiotics. I was told I needed to have an extraction and in the meantime if I needed to get back on antibiotics, they would put me back on antibiotics. They asked me to go as long as possible without them. I waited 5 days and called back because I needed the antibiotics. I paid over $600 for my first appointment. Now, the dentist and owner of the practice is on vacation and the office is refusing to put me back on antibiotics and telling me to go to urgent care, urgent care is the one who sent me to the dentist in the first place. I was blatantly lied to, to my face, took my money, and won’t complete the care that the promised me. Panicking and crying, out of money to pay another doctor out of pocket, I guess they are just leaving me to suffer

From the moment I called family dental I was treated so kindly. Heather set me up with a new patient visit right away and on a Saturday! Danika at front desk was so friendly and gave me a wonderful tour! My dentist hygienist Meiber was very gentle with my teeth and the dentist dr shedd gave me positive feedback! Very grateful I made the switch thank you all!

Wow! I am impressed. When I first arrived as a new patient, I was given a really nice gift and given a tour around the office. Short wait for my appointment. Knowledgeable staff. Amazingly comfortable seats with warming and massage options. A lot of comfort options for people with dental anxiety. Quick quotes for optional services like whitening. Seamless transition between cleaning by hygienist and assessment by the dentist. They were super sweet to my 3 year old who tagged along with me as well.

My first visit was very nice. I was warmly greeted at the door and given a new patient gift. The dental assistant and doctor were professional and friendly. The treatment room had many features that were comforting. The treatment plan I was offered was tailored to my needs. All finances were clearly explained and seemed fair. I will go back. Excellent clinical care, but serious front-office/insurance issues I had an appointment at Family Dental Care of Milford and left with mixed feelings. On the clinical side, my experience was outstanding. My hygienist was exceptionally knowledgeable, kind, and thorough—one of the best I’ve worked with. The dentist was similarly attentive and careful, taking time to listen and explain. The facility is modern, in a convenient location, and the heated/massaging chairs were a unique and welcome touch. Unfortunately, the administrative side of the visit was problematic. Before booking, I called to confirm that my insurance was accepted and in-network and was told I was “good.” During intake, staff made multiple calls to enter my insurance, which raised concerns. At the appointment, I was advis
