Fairview Healthcare Residence

The place smells like urine. It’s run down. Floors and walls are horrible condition. Patients rooms are poor condition. Tiles are old and broken, baseboards are broken walls are dirty. Very dingy and unsanitary. Spiderwebs and mold in windows units Closets are very dirty. Needs to be cleaned top to bottom.

My dad is there now. Been there a year. The day nurses and aides are great. I admire them. But there isn’t much entertaining for the residents. I can see where there isn’t much reason for daddy to get out of bed each day. I know other nursing homes have constant games and activities. My dad is in the secure unit so he at least eats with other residents. The residents “up the hill” for the most part of what I have observed mostly eat in their rooms, alone. I love my dads nurses and aides but am disappointed in the lack of activities.

I was sent to Fairview for rehabilitation and fell in love with this place. My room was dusted and mopped every day. The people who worked there were awesome and very helpful. We walked either inside or outside depending on the weather. We did crafts, played games and I loved going outside as they were fixing up the covered patio, painting and planting new flowers. The patio was a place to visit. The meals were wonderful.. The only thing wrong was the tv stations which need to be updated and some channels need to be added.

I believe her name was Joy she was so professional and always very helpful. I have encountered her on numerous occasions. If more employee's had her ENERGY and CARE for there profession I believe this facility could be 5 star!

I have had many family members there. Great caring staff of cna's, nurses, and med aids! The staff really cares about their patients and their well being!
