Fairfield Medical Center: Emergency Room

Never will return here again!! First off I get into triage was only in there for 10 mins and sent back out to waiting room for over 7 hrs with a IV in my arm cause they said they had no provider!!! Only ran one blood test and cat scan and never found out the results. Then they gave me a bunch a medication that you can’t mix together and never said anything to me. This place is dangerous. I ended up going to diley medical center in canal Winchester to get treated properly and also found out I have a severe infection. If you want to actually get help find somewhere else cause FMC in Lancaster SUCKS. You guys are going to kill someone.

I went to this ER for the first time last night with potential pregnancy complications. After reading the other reviews I was worried, but I had a completely different and wonderful experience. I was taken back immediately, and the nurses and volunteers not only gave great care to me, but also provided my toddler with snacks, books, and coloring pages. All of the nurses and doctors were kind and speedy. My ultrasound tech, a young blonde woman, was especially kind and helpful. In less than 2 hours my blood tests were completed, I had an emergency ultrasound, ultrasound results, and was cleared to go. No one patronized or lectured me for coming in, even though the baby turned out to be fine. Instead, they urged me to continue to be careful and come back if needed. It was, overall, the bes

We had a great experience at the hospital. The nurse (Ms. Pearl) who cared for my son was so kind and tender. The doctors and other nurses were all so patient and kind. We felt they deeply cared about our son’s wellbeing, and were doing whatever they can to make him feel better. We were also very impressed with the hospitals amenities. We were there for a while, which is common for an ER visit, but they provided coffee and nice snacks for us to get through the night. Small details like this shows hospital effort to provide a caring environment for their patients and families. This is probably one of the best ER experience we have ever had.

I normally don’t write reviews, but I felt the need to today after my experience here! I’ve been here before and it was okay service. Today however was different! I went in because of shortness of breath (I was told I had bronchitis a few days ago at urgent care but the breathing got worse which is why I went in). I’m not sure of the nurses or doctors name, but everyone treated us so kindly. I really liked the doctor that I had (again not sure of the name but it was a female doctor). I’m not a fan of being tested for covid by anyone but myself, however the doctor explained kindly to me how she didn’t want to give me steroids for bronchitis if it is actually covid because it can make it worse. I had a medical emergency while visiting my family. The emergency room staff are extremely kind and patient. The cardiac observation team made you feel comfortable and relaxed. A great team of professionals.
