Eye Contact Optometry

Dr. Kenji is an incredible optometrist. He is smart, detailed, methodical and always on top of latest technology. We had a bit of emergency when my daughter’s only glasses were accidentally stepped on by another kid. We needed an urgent appointment because her prescription was just a bit out of date. He managed to squeeze her in and ordered a new pair to arrive in 2 days. Her prescription isn’t easily filled so going to a 1hr place wasn’t an option. He managed to do all of it with a warm smile, patience and didn’t rush us even though his office was jam packed with patients.

The eye exam is very thorough the the staff are very friendly. Dr Kenji is highly recommended, and all other staff I met were professional and friendly! I'm always nervous having eye exams and this was quite possibly the most thorough I've ever had and the most comfortable I have felt. I haven't purchases glasses there however there seems to be a large selection of frames. Contact lenses were ordered and arrived quickly. Overall very satisfied and highly recommend.

My glasses broke on the airplane here from Maui. Well, the frames bent so they were unusable. Because I’m not from here it was suggested I see what can be done at an optometrist. I walked in here because I was eating breakfast at Los Gatos cafe and right away Ed started working on my glasses. I couldn’t believe he could fix them the arms were practically vertical. But actually now they fit even better! It took him about 5 minutes and he didn’t charge me anything. I knew it was a long shot but clearly Ed was an expert and I’m so thankful. I would have really been up a creek since I was headed up to Yosemite and I’m quite blind without glasses. Great place! Very helpful. Very nice.

Small store with amazing selection of frames! Dr. Kenji spent almost an hour during my eye exam to be sure he got my contact lens prescription just right. Very thorough and he nicely explained everything to me using state-of-the-art exam equipment. He also gave me a trial pair of lenses to wear for a few days to be sure I was happy with the product before ordering. Thanks to the entire staff!

This was the best eye exam I've ever had. The doctor was so thorough explaining everything as he went. I not only learned I have a mild astigmatism but also learned more about what that means. The new technology to photo my eye without dilating was fantastic. Finally the staff was friendly and so helpful to my son and I as we selected the best glasses. A great experience all around.
