ExpressCare Urgent Care Center - Mount Airy

I have been to this location previously for myself and other Express Care locations for my kids and have had phenomenal experiences; however, my experience today with my two year old was not that. I’d recommend others to take their young babies elsewhere for urgent care. Highly recommend going to the Urbana ExpressCare to take care of your younger kids!!!

At my most recent visit, the dr. prescribed antibiotics (ZPak, for sinus infection) & Paxlovid (for Covid). I've taken ZPak before with no issues. However, this was my 1st time w/ Paxlovid. I had severe nausea & allergic reaction (pink blotches on arms & legs), after taking it for two days. Called & explained this to one of the nurses (don't recall her name). She was so kind & helpful. She had staff call in prescription for Zofran to my pharmacy. She was such a lifesaver, b/c Zofran did the trick! I really appreciate the friendly, helpful doctors, nurses and staff at Express Care. They take good care of their patients, including pre-screening, clinic appts., and post-care (as the need arises). Thanks for all that you do for your patients. It doesn't go unnoticed! -Jill M.

The lady at the front desk was VERY NICE, WORKED QUICKLY TO GET ME IN AND REGISTERED. The nurse/tech was efficient and thorough as well! Doc came by quickly and got me on my way after a meaningful evaluation. 3 staff members knocked it outta the park. Your company should be proud to employ them!

All three of the staff members I interacted with were very professional. I was concerned there would be a long wait and lots of sick people however there were only two other people waiting, and I was in and out quickly The medical assistant and the doctor are very thorough. Not sure why I bother having a primary care physician.

(Mt. Airy, MD location): Janelle, the nurse that initially brought me be back for evaluation was kind and thorough. Leah Gleiberman, NPR was equally as kind, compassionate, and thorough. Front desk staff was welcoming and efficient. Very pleased with the care I received.
