I have a bit of experience with Scott having treated with him numerous times over the years both at his previous employer and at his own practice, Expedition Physical Therapy. Each time has resulted in a successful rehabilitation. He is thorough, clear in his descriptions of what is going on at the injured area and results based by establishing goals and taking measurements of strength and range of motion, to assess progress. He is patient and I have never felt rushed during appointments. I highly recommend Scott for PT services and have given his name to friends who ask for PT recommendations. You will be in good hands should you seek out his services.

I highly recommend Scott McAmis, Expedition Physical Therapy. He does regular assessments of my pain, range of motion and strength and he adjusts my Physical Therapy and homework each visit. Slowly I have been able to regain my shoulder movement and strength week, by week. He was able to review my complex problems in my shoulder that I did not get explained from my great sports medicine doctor. I had more than a rotator cuff tear, and was not aware of it until he reviewed all the results of my MRI. He showed me images of a shoulder anatomy and went over line by line each of the MRI comments. I am over 6 months since my last steroid injection and I do not think I will need to do that again. It is great to have the same person to work with each visit.

I’ve gone to Scott a couple of times over the years for knee pain and foot pain, and both times he has been great! Scott is just a great guy. Easy to work with, easy to talk to, and he takes the time to investigate and build a science-based treatment plan. He is also an excellent teacher, explaining how the muscles, ligaments, and tendons work together, and what research says about different injuries and therapies. That way, I’m not just mindlessly repeating exercises, I know why I am doing them and how they should help me. Most importantly, my therapy with Scott has led to results, with my pain vastly reduced or completely gone! Especially with my knee. I had been to physical therapy three other times over several years before meeting Scott, but it’s been years now and my knee has stayed

Scott is a patient, gentle, and thorough physical therapist. He took his time and made an extra effort to identify what was causing my sudden sciatica pain. He offered helpful exercises that I was able to do on my own between sessions - problem solved! He is a true professional.

I have seen Scott off and on for various injuries over the years and am so grateful to have been able to work with him. He really gets to know you as he assesses your injury, how it impacts your mobility, is connected to other potential issues, and determines the best therapy for you. He is great at explaining how the ligaments, muscles, and bones all work together so you really understand the purpose of the exercises and how they lead to improvement. I would highly recommend Scott to anyone in need of physical therapy.
