Exer Urgent Care - Torrance

Dr. Carolina, Kayla, and Dr. Stamler are so awesome! I saw Dr. Stamler a few weeks ago, and he was so caring and helped fast, I decided to return for my younger son. We saw Dr. Carolina today, and she was just as caring and kind. I told my family they should go here because of the fast help and great care from the doctors, NP's and employees. The X-Ray tech was also nice. He helped my 3 year old get comfortable and was able to get the job done! 5 stars and two thumbs up!😊

Can say my experience wasn't too bad. Came in a couple weeks before Christmas after having difficulty breathing due to an abscess forming within my throat. The doctor on call that night (I can't remember who they were) was able to quickly and successfully drain the abscess after around an hour or so of waiting in the waiting room. They prescribed anti-biotics and that was the end of it. Fast forward around another three weeks when I'm overseas in Japan, and I get told that I was going to be billed approximately $374 despite the fact that I paid my $20 copay and was under the impression that this visit would be covered. There was literally nothing I could've done while being overseas since I didn't have any way to call them. I am thankfully in a place where I can afford to have this money

I made a reservation for an appointment, arrived on time, and still had to wait 30 minutes before anyone even saw me. After that, they put me in a room, checked my vitals, and told me someone would be with me shortly—then left me sitting there for another 15+ minutes. Eventually I was informed that the surgeon was busy in surgery and wouldn’t be able to see me for a couple of hours unless I wanted to wait. Since I understand how medicine works, I asked if their NP could do my blood work instead. I actually had to walk around and physically find him myself, and he agreed. Then I was told they didn’t even have the proper tubes to run the TB test I needed after all of this waiting. The doctor was very thorough during her exam. I received a breathing treatment and a steroid to address my breathing difficulty as well as CXR. I received same day results from the doctor. Meds were waiting for me at my local pharmacy within minutes after my visit. Thank you Exer for restoring my trust in a office covered by LA Care🤗

Super friendly staff. Everyone works really well together to keep the patient center focus. I really appreciate the communication and trust built with the medical assistants, lab technician, and NP.
