Exer Urgent Care - Marina Del Rey

I have great insurance, but I absolutely hate sitting in the ER for hours before I get to see a nurse let alone a doctor. EX-ER in Marina de Rey is always efficient, professional, patient and kind. The facility is always spotless. I highly recommend them.

Set an appointment for 10:30 AM and did the pre paperwork online. Checked in online and arrived at 10:15 AM sharp as was directed. I did not go into get checked for a basic flu/COVID swab untill after 11AM. The place was not even packed. You could here the "professionals" chit chatting in the back about their weekend plans all while showing no sign of urgency. On top of that I was charged a $50 copay while sitting waiting and was not even informed untill after they charged without consent or even telling me they would run my card. I found out while sitting and receiving a bank notification....what if I decided cancel or leave and not stay considering how long everything took!? The entrance is cold and less than human. An iPad to check in and a useless person that doesn't even greet anyone

Sadly, this place has gone WAY down hill. It used to be my reliable favorite to go to. I won't be going back any time soon. They even had to refund my co pay. The place is clean, sure. But upon entering there is a lethargic, lazy man sitting behind the desk, barely audible. When there was an old man struggling to get up for his appointment, he managed to hold the door open but just watched him as he struggled in pain, no offer to assist. It was GROSS. Then NO ONE tells you that appointments get priority or too bad. I was at a 90 min wait time...and going.....NO one was even at the desk anymore it was so long. I watched patients come in and go because no one greeted them nothing. ZERO guidance. Finally someone comes out. tells me to pay my co pay, 90 mins later, and that he was wa

We did a walk-in to this clinic to do a chest X-Ray and the process of checking in to see a doctor was easy 👍🏼! The place was clean, well lit, and well maintained. Customer service was also great 💯; the insurance lookup was quick and the nurses were friendly and assuring. In terms of payment, they didn't try to add weird or hidden costs, which I am sure everyone would appreciate. The only issue I had was the wait time, it took us 2 hours before a doctor attended to us. Nevertheless, I did a walk-in, so it's understandable! Overall, I had a pleasant experience here and would recommend it to anyone needing emergency care. NOTE: Everyone probably knows this, but get your health insurance. I paid $20 in total for this particular visit. Without it? It's probably going to cost above a hundred

Went in for testing. They "lost" the urine sample and could not perform any testing. Upon ME calling THEM a week later urgently awaiting my critical test results (they never called me to tell me they lost my samples, let alone results) I waited on hold twice for 20 minutes and was given an attitude and not even an apology. Offered instead a blind diagnosis with 2 separate medications without knowing if I was sick, how the medicine could effect me, nothing. Place has a poor Google rating for good reason, stay away
