Excel Therapy

I am very thankful for Darrell Platt & Excel Therapy. Darrell has helped to guide and educate me along my journey of recovering from shoulder surgery that I ended up needing this past January of 2019. Not only did Darrell work with me to regain movement and strength in my shoulder, but he was my "go to guy" when I needed advice & motivation to finish "the job". I can't imagine recovering from shoulder surgery without the physical therapy. I appreciate the fact that Darrell has reached out to check up on me & has made it very clear that I can contact him at anytime for advice and help. You can NOT go wrong with seeking out Darrell and Excel Therapy. He and his team will help you to regain the mobility & strength that you need to make life a little easier than when you started. This was my second opportunity to use Excel Therapy for my second rotator cuff surgery. Darrell Platt and his staff are the best my wife and I have found. She used them for two recoveries from knee replacement surgery. Darrell is very understanding of your recovery and works to get you back to normal as quickly as possible. He provides great oversight of others who work with him and everyone has a kind heart. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my physical therapy needs and I would highly recommend others to check out their services.

My back was hurting with nerve pain down the front of my leg. I have always had back pain from Scoliosis, but as I aged it had gotten very uncomfortable and did not go away after a night of rest. I visited a orthopedic doctor and since I did not want surgery, he recommended physical therapy. So I went to Excel Therapy. Darrell gave me exercises to do , along with about thirty minutes on a machine that sent electrical impulses into the affected area. My pain was greatly relieved and even completely gone at times. I have continued to do the exercises and I bought a tens unit to use at home also. So far, I am doing really well. I have had the pain return but between the tens unit and the exercises I have been able to keep to pain away. I have used Excel Therapy many times and I think

My daughters therapist, Darrell, was phenomenal! The environment was calm and relaxing and the staff were all extremely friendly and welcoming. My daughter was motivated in the gym as well as at home with the exercises and made a full recovery due to the plan and professionalism of Excel Therapy. I would highly recommend this facility!

I worked with Darrell on a knee issue in an effort to avoid surgery. I’m an amateur athlete so mobility is a top concern. He worked with me at my personal level to correct strength imbalances and improve mechanics. My knee is great and my weight lifting mechanics are much improved thanks to his guidance. He also assisted me with an inflamed rotator cuff and within a month I was free of pain and able to continue my training. If you need an expert who will get you on track quickly and work to accommodate your schedule this is the place to go!
