I went in as a last resort for acne. I’ve done everything, accutane (twice, each time for eight months), clindamycin, oral antibiotics, retinol, salicylic acid, glycolic acid, sulfur, birth control… you name it, I tried it. It went away for two years after accutane, but it came back, worse than before. Acne had taken a toll on my mental health and on my confidence.
