This place was going downhill before it was sold it to ever shine. When I first started to see Dr. Cook, I was very pleasantly surprised however, you quickly became the worst experience I ever had. He started to get very flippant not listening to you I’m blowing off any concerns you had about the surgery he kept trying to push on you just because he lost weight. He seemed to think everybody should be a specific weight and needed weight loss surgery. He was constantly making inappropriate remarks to You as a patient and then when you schedule a physical, he decides to change it and bill you because he was trying to push you to get weight loss surgery and sending you for referrals that you didn’t even ask for

I have been a patient here since 2006 and originally brought my daughter and other family members because of Dr. Cook—he truly was the best. Unfortunately, since he sold his practice and Carol King left, things just haven’t felt the same. Now, visits feel impersonal, like you’re just a number. It seems that blood work is done at nearly every appointment, yet clear explanations or answers are rarely provided. While Amanda was kind, she always seemed rushed, which made the experience feel hurried instead of attentive. I recommended Evershine to my daughter when she needed to see a doctor. This was my first visit to this medical practice. All the staff I interacted with from the person I spoke to schedule, office and medical staff were very friendly and helpful. Very short wait in reception area and treatment room. Doctor listened closely to why I was there and what I was needing. He asked great questions to gather information and clarify if needed so I felt he really understood my issues. He was patient, kind , thorough and relaxed- did not seem rushed or in a hurry.. good explanations ….I quickly felt that I had found my new family medical clinic

RUN FROM THIS PLACE! UPDATE 10/3/25: Since my original review, this office has continued to show concerning levels of disorganization — they sent my referral to the wrong doctor’s office and even emailed me a credit card receipt belonging to another patient. I’m genuinely concerned by the level of disorganization at this office. I came in for my first visit for an annual exam, lab work, and a prescription refill. I wasn’t given any preparation instructions beforehand, so I couldn’t complete the full blood panel I needed. Only afterward did I learn that I’d have to schedule multiple additional appointments just to get my prescription refilled, something that was never mentioned up front. Dr Sewani and his team are extremely professional. They took me in as a walk in and I was in and out within an hour. The front desk staff, Shaista, was so kind and assisted me with my check out. Great staff and service!
