Escondido Smiles Dentistry and Orthodontics

I had a root canal procedure done for a bridge at Escondido Smiles. The worst dentist experience of my life! The endodontist was a true butcher. She did not say a single word during the procedure. I almost chocked from being water-boarded by her. I could not breath and she would not stop. When she was done, she just ran out of the room like she was on fire. She did not even fill the hole in my tooth. Another dentist came and finished her job. Three weeks later my three piece bridge just cracked and fell apart. I had an x-rays done at a different office. They told me that the endodontist had made a hole past the root of my tooth and went into the gum tissue. Now I have to pay $6000 to replace the bridge and do surgery to undo what she had done. I called the Smiles office. An extremely rude

I have been going to Escondido Smiles for many years. The staff are all friendly and are knowledgeable. Dr Bocash is definitely an outstanding dentist. The procedures I have had done I have been completely satisfied. I also go to the orthodontist. Same results as Dr. Bocash. . Excellent work. I would recommend Escondido Smiles to everyone.

I first found Escondido smiles when I needed oral surgery for a tooth that had come out. I am so thankful I found them. From the women that run the office and front desk, to the dentist and surgeon, all are kind, personable, professional, efficient, and very knowledgeable. They also made me laugh throughout which really helps in a situation that can be very tense. They also were very patient with my struggle using technology, LOL! The specialist that saw me to complete the actual surgery was beyond excellent. Probably the best dental experience I have had and I am now in my '60s. As long as my insurance keeps covering them, I know I have found my dental team!!

They recommended inlays, inlays, deep cleaning, irrigation, and other dental work coming out to thousands of dollars out of pocket after insurance. They claimed I had severe cavities and gum disease (my teeth and gums look and feel fine). I got a second opinion at a different dentist and none of what they had told me was true. My gums are fine, my x rays were clear of cavities, and the deep clean was a suggestion from the new dentist (not an absolute requirement like Escondido Smiles made it out to be). It seems like they were just looking to do unnecessary work for extra money at my expense.

Emma, the hygienist, was incredibly kind and made me feel comfortable throughout my cleaning. The entire staff was also very welcoming. Thank you again !
