Because I'm not an evil person, I will refrain from saying the name of the Cardiologist that I saw at Erlanger Heart & Lung Institute. He was very distasteful, very discriminative, and he has poor bedside manner. He said, "there are too many cooks in the kitchen," when he glanced at my patient record and saw the Specialist that I'm currently under, for care. In his visit notes, he said "he/she," "she/he," then referenced me, too, with "she." Clearly, I am a "SHE" and didn't give off any testosterone. He made me feel like I was too much of an issue for him to be bothered with, "this is the most I've done all day," referencing him having to pay attention to my current medications, in efforts to add a new script that he thought I should have been on, from the start. I visited cardiologist Lakshmi Subramanian on October 10. The doctor was very nice and attentive. But then things took a turn for the worse. I was left dissatisfied. The doctor prescribed me blood pressure medication, which I still haven't received because the doctor cannot confirm this medication for the pharmacy. I called the cardiology department twice, they wrote everything down, but no one ever called back, and the pharmacy sent them confirmation information, but no one responded. I also had tests done, and no one called me back or gave me the results. Now I understand why you have to wait months for an appointment. It's a little irresponsible to patients when a patient is waiting for blood pressure medication and can't get an answer or medication. Something is definitely not working

Called and made an appointment for four months out. A week before the appointment they called and said the doctor wasn’t going to be in office. I rescheduled for a month and a half later. Again 7 days before my appointment they called and said the doctor wouldn’t be in the office and wanted to reschedule another two weeks out. I hate leaving bad reviews but I’ve been waiting since June or July and now they want me to wait until November. I will be going somewhere else. Edit: Literally an hour after I left this one star review they were magically able to get me in next day. The care was good and most of the staff is caring. Practically impossible to get an appointment though and for something as important as cardiology I feel as if it should be more accessible. I highly recommend Dr. Sonti

Hello my name is Harrison Daniels and I am currently a patient at Earlanger Hospital in Chattanooga TN. I wanted the public to know that the care I received from Nursing, Technician, Doctors and clean up Crew is second to none. I have been in many health care facilities and never received the care and love from a Cardio team like this. The entire cardio staff and clean up Crew we're amazing. ps . when it comes to knowledge of the Heart you can't get any better. Thank you for saving my life.

Dr poynter is my surgeon and done a fantastic job. Rachel Webb is my follow up dr. Both are amazing. Would recommend 100%
