Our son just had brain surgery with Dr. Church and he not only has the most expertise and extensive background but his bedside manner explaining the operation and care afterward to our four year old and us has been beyond our expectations. We are very thankful for his knowledge and care.

In 2022 I presented to Penn State Med Hospital with bleeding on the brain; my attending was Dr Church! I was diagnosed with Subachnoid brain hemorrhage. I was in the Hershey area visiting with friends and this incident happened. I spent 2 weeks in ICU and Neuro ICU. Dr Church was absolutely amazing!! The tests that were ran, the attention to detail of my care while in the hospital and just being super thorough in ensuring that I didn’t have an aneurism and also after being released my follow up with Dr Church where he went over my diagnosis, the various scans and MRIs that were done…I never had a Dr explain everything in depth!! He was really kind and caring to me and my daughters who were in their 20’s at the time!!! The treatment I received from Penn State was the best I live an 1 1/1 ho

My husband Tim Shope had a stroke Jan 27th he is still in the hospital, but Dr Church is one of the most caring Dr that we have had here. He is one top notch Dr. God bless!!!

Dr. Church was the 4th. neurosurgeon my mom saw for her aneurysm. The other 3 doctors all had very different approaches of how to treat the aneurysm. Each one of them had a different approach than the last one, & they all said it was too dangerous to clip her aneurysm. When Dr. Church heard this he said "what do you mean? I clip them all the time." Dr. Church did clip the aneurysm, the operation was a complete success. I wish we went to Dr. Church first. We wasted over 2 years going to these other doctors. I would recommend Dr. Church to anyone that needs to see a neurosurgeon. You should see him before you see any other neurosurgeons. Dr. Church is the best!
