Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Danbury

I can't say enough about this place - caring and dedicated staff, to a person; from the reception area, to the people on facilities detail, PT/OT, nursing, patient care and medical staff, and case management, right up to the CEO himself. Patient to staff ratio is strictly enforced and will not go below 1:5, and beds/intake will be capped if not enough staff. The place is kept VERY clean and all hygenic best practices observed. Gym is state of the art. Even the cafeteria is nice - with a handwashing station! Medical staff always available and there is a dedicated medical director, physiatrist, and an additional MD. Any issues were quickly resolved. They only opened in September 2025 to receive patients, and are still figuring a few things out, but they actually listen and are eager to take

My experience at the Encompass Rehab in Danbury far outweighs any other rehab facility that I have been in throughout my years. Every therapist, nurse, Dr and aid were so professional and efficient with my care. Absolutely amazing, professional , attentive and thorough. Thank you so much for putting me on the road to a complete recovery.
