Empire State Retina - Manhattan

Me experience was phenomenal and the cataract removal procedure went very well. Dr. Yuna Rapoport explained every step. I, being 76 years of age & a retired higher educational instructor,;did my own research on her background and credentials & was pleased and comfortable having her do the surgery. She & her entire team have my appreciation & respect. I'm looking forward to having my other eye done . I highly recommend her (& her team) to anyone seeking an excellent eye surgeon ! My surgery went off without a hitch. I have congenital cataracts so I was worried about it not working because of it being more complex but within a day my vision is noticeably better and my eye is very comfortable. Dr Rapport and all the nurses and surgical staff were very kind and very informative throughout the process. I would highly recommend.

The office is very professional and clean. The doctor is so very nice and polite. He takes his time, explains what's happening when you are unsure of your status of your healing process. Everyone at this office is just wonderful.

Dr. Sarwar Zahid and his team were absolutely phenomenal. I was referred to Empire State Retina due to a potential retinal tear. Dr Zahid immediately made sure I had the proper testing done then checked out my eye himself to decide next steps, I can't thank him and his team enough. The eyes are precious and I highly recommend Empire State Retina.

I had a good first appointment a few months ago. The doctor informed me that it was important the i get my eyes checked three months after in august, but made me an appointment in September. Come September they were not in office to see me , so I made another appointment for October since scheduling for a sooner date would have coincided with my out of country trip. I informed their front desk that it is unfair that I wasn’t informed by phone or even over email sooner, but I still made the appointment for October in the end. I have finally today receive a voice note to inform me they will (again) not be in office. I should have known better not to make another appointment. Thank you for my one appointment back in may, your staff are lovely people. Front desk is understanding and very help
