Emory Decatur Hospital

I had an excellent experience with the outpatient surgical team at Emory Decatur. From the moment I arrived, everyone was professional, kind, and very attentive. The nurses and staff made me feel comfortable and kept my beautiful Mother well-informed throughout the entire process. Shoutout to Yalime, Ms. Ruth, Ms. Cathy, Ms. Sherry, and Ms. Sarah. Dr. Pham (my Dr) is the best and the whole anesthesiologist team really took care of me!!!! They took the time to answer my questions, explain each step, and made sure I was at ease before and after the procedure. The level of care, teamwork, and compassion shown by the entire surgical team was truly outstanding. I’m very grateful for their dedication and highly recommend Emory Decatur’s outpatient surgery department to anyone needing care.”

Busy Tuesday, small parking lot, middle of the day.. and there's multiple 2-cycle leaf blowers spewing fumes in the way of the entry. To equal the hydrocarbon emissions of about 30 minutes with just one two-stroke leaf blower, you'd have to drive a Ford Raptor for 3,887 miles, or the distance from Northern Texas to Anchorage, Alaska. First, I want to explain my review by saying I completely understand Emergency departments are stressful and they have to deal with people at their worst moments so I understand why they have to protect themselves and put up a hard front to the public. Passing through the ER was the only bad part of our visit. That being said, we had to go to Emory Decatur Hospital for my partner’s colonoscopy. We were given printed instructions to enter through the Emergency Room then proceed to Endoscopy. No big deal, but I stopped to ask the receptionist which way to Endoscopy. She seemed angry for some reason because we were given incorrect directions. I understand it’s a stressful job, but I was simply asking directions so it was a surprising reaction. This was one of the best hospital experiences I’ve had thus far. I was seen to have a Upper GI endoscopy. My prep nurse Kelly- Amazing, Cindy and Dr Allamneni and the surgery team all was super awesome. All fears went away. I felt safe and seen. I know they see thousands however I mattered to them and that was all I needed. Thank you Emory. Much Love

I had a great experience at the Dr. Bobbie Bailey Tower, Woman's Center for my scheduled surgery. From the Pre- Admission registration appointment, up to Post surgery. My primary surgeon, Dr Erin Duncan and the amazing team of MD's,DO, PA, PT did outstanding work, and accomplished the desired outcome for my total well being. I also want to shout out to Nurse Madelien, Nurse Eleanor and the after care nurses for being truly dedicated and caring individuals you all are. I'm forever Grateful!
