Dr Emily Dodwell is one of the greatest doctors i have experienced especially with pediatric care. Dr Dodwell went above and beyond to care for my daughter and saw the problem through. My daughter is now doing well and I would recommend her to anyone as she provided us with the highest level of care.

Dr.Dodwell is a very caring Dr. She takes her time and explain every thing to her patients my grandson had five surgeries on his leg no one seems to get it right until I looked her up on the internet .Glad I picked her she is the best and I am very great full to have met her Good job Dr.Dodwell. We worked with Dr. Dodwell when my son was 9 months old (fracture) through his full recovery many months later. She is a kind and talented doctor with a great bedside manner. Our experience at HSS overall was excellent too. Dr. Dodwell answered our questions thoroughly during every step of the healing and recovery process, and made each visit relatively easy even with this somewhat challenging age (infant through toddler). I highly recommend her for any pediatric orthopedic needs, and appreciate all that she did for our family!

Dr Dodwell is an exceptional specialist. When I brought my 9 month old daughter to Dr Dodwell in summer of 2019 she expertly diagnosed my baby with septic arthritis - a very serious infection in her hip that was missed by her pediatricians. She booked my baby for surgery the very next morning followed by an in patient stay at HSS. My daughter has been under Dr Dodwell’s care since then and we are so thrilled to see her running, jumping and perfectly recovered after such a scary health episode. I will be forever grateful to Dr Dodwell for recognizing these signs in my baby who was unable to communicate with us and for everything she did to fix and heal her.

We have been seeing Dr Dodwell for our little guy for hip dysplasia and will continue to see her until our little guy is out of the woods. Naturally we always have lots of questions and she has been very informative and has carefully explained everything to us along the way. She has taken her time to explain every step in detail which has been super helpful. The nurses and all staff at her practice have also all been so great. They have all made this difficult part of parenthood as smooth as it could possibly go. The wait times are always very little which is really great when bringing your baby to an appointment.
