My Step-dad was admitted here for a 2 week rehab from Ephrata Hospital. The place was clean. The staff was friendly. I also got to meet the in house RN Supervisor he was a male and I don't remember his name at the time who was very nice. And so was the on duty med nurse , she was very nice as well. My step says the food so far is good , and that is important to him. It was definitely a lot nicer then when it was Manor Care years ago. Hopefully his physical Therapy will go well and he can return to his Apartment in Ephrata within in his 2 week stay that was ordered. The only thing that is a little challenging is the parking for visitors. There is street parking out front or a Church parking lot where you can park across the street.

If you have a family member here.....try as hard as you can to get them out. If you can't get them out....show up at random times and ask questions. If the filth and smell doesn't give you second thoughts, the bare minimum care should. There are residents who spend literally every single day and night in Broda chairs without interaction, without snacks or water. Imagine asking for a bed pan and being told to go in your diaper. Imagine apologizing because you put your callbell on 45 minutes ago, are bedridden and had an accident because you waited too long and the CNA you've been waiting for has been sitting at the desk on her phone......like you interrupted the CNA. It's a miserable existence....it's like torture. CNAs and nurses are not kind and seem inconvenienced when asked to do

My aunt was here for awhile before coming home, my family and I visited frequently. I just want to say the staff here are tremendous. 10/10 I watched them move mountains, even when short they gave excellent care, were attentive and did it with respect, grace and a smile. The DON was so nice, the activities ladies was amazing, as well as the young lady located across from the elevator on first floor who assisted us with carrying things in and always treated us with so much respect. (I am sorry I don’t know names) we really felt welcomed by all of them. Only reason I gave 4 stars is the gentleman at the front desk is rude, screamed at a coworker in front of us (scared me and my cousin). I also want to say it’s disgusting to be greeted by someone sitting at the desk stuffing their face and tr

One of the poorest facilities I have ever had the displeasure of visiting. Doesn’t look. Like the floor has been cleaned in 6 months. VERY understaffed. Did not look like our loved one had been bathed in a few days and was not repositioned or checked in a 6 hour visit. Nursing staff fairly rude but aides were wonderful just overwhelmed. Receptionist VERY rude

I would give 0 stars if I could due to the condition of what my loved one was left in. Matted hair up to the scalp talked to one of the staff on the floor just for them to do nothing about it, had to come back in and dematt it myself (took 4 hours). Nails not clipped. Dirty sheets under clean bed pads. My loved one was found laying half off of the bed without her call bell. Soiled brief on the bathroom floor. You would think they would prioritize infection control and dispose of the brief. Or even prioritize the hygiene of the patients. It breaks my heart for anyone in there with the neglect they receive. Not to mention, ignoring the call bells & when you do get a nurse most of them are very rude. Please do your research before sending a loved one here!!
