Emerald Health & Rehab Center

My mother has been a resident at Emerald for over 3 years and we have been very pleased with her care. She has developed wonderful relationships with staff, including nurses, CNAs, housekeepers, maintenance and more. When we have had questions or concerns, they have all been addressed. The front office staff are wonderful as well. I would highly recommend this facility to others.

My father-in-law has been at Emerald for several months and we are very pleased with his care. He reports that 95% of the staff is top notch, which I think is about the best you can ask for at just about any business. Any time we have approached leadership with a concern (all minor), they have been addressed swiftly and respectfully. My mother-in-law is now also needing care and we are thankful that she will be able to be at Emerald as well.

This facility was a huge disappointment in the care of our mother!!! There were times she was soaked through her clothes from not being changed, she rarely received medication or her meals on time. She was in a lot of pain and not having your pain medication on time is not a good way to take care of the people you are supposed to be taking care of. Just because people are elderly and unable to speak for themselves or take care of themselves does not mean they don't deserve great care. There were CNA's touching our mother by pulling on her physically to turn her and not use the under sheet or the (turn pads that my family purchased). It is not necessary to touch a person to turn them but they kept doing it over and over. I filed a grievance while there as well but things did not get better.

My father has been a resident of Emerald since he failed rehab in May of 2022. We have been consistently impressed with the care that most of the staff (and all of his primary caretakers) show him, and the helpfulness of the front office staff and administration. They have the same staffing issues as most nursing care facilities, but they manage it with a smile and hard work and they help us as a family whenever needed. Highly recommend.

Would give no stars if it were an option!!!! I encourage anyone considering this facility for themselves or a loved one to NOT seek care here. My mother in law was SEVERELY neglected here. Was NOT given medications she need. Was NOT given IV medications she needed. Was NOT given other medical care she needed. RUN from this facility!!!! The staff is completely incompetent!!!! They simply DO NOT care whatsoever. Many of the nursing staff there has attitude problems. Aside from the attitudes they severely neglect their clients. I encourage anyone that has a relative in this facility to immediately seek elsewhere to have their relative transferred. Please anyone do your research upon choosing what facility to place your loved one for medical care, recovery etc…
