‼️‼️BEWARE‼️‼️ I canceled two scheduled procedures at this clinic due to an unprofessional interaction with a staff member who identified herself as the manager. When I politely asked whether my prescription could be sent electronically to my pharmacy, she responded aggressively, stating, “You don’t tell us what to do,” and continued speaking in a raised, confrontational tone. I remained calm throughout the call. When I asked for her name for documentation purposes, she refused to provide it. I later visited the office in person and spoke with another staff member who was professional. However, management still declined to provide the name of the individual involved. Came here with my husband to drive him after his procedure. Was greeted by Ms. Phillips at the window. She asked “who is your driver?” As we were standing at the window. My husband says “her” as he points to me. Ms. Phillips looks up at us with an annoyed look and says with an attitude “Who is HER” my husband says oh I’m sorry that’s my wife. She looks at him and shrugs her shoulders and says “Okay do you want me to write HER on the paper?!” I stepped in and was like oh I apologize you need my name. It’s Dorothy Kenner. She shakes her head and writes my name down and my number. Maybe lead with the question “What is the name of the person who will be driving you home today” a little more professionalism and the correct usage of words would have gotten the answer she was looking for but she

I was a patient at East Carolina Gastroenterology in Jacksonville, NC. The staff was amazing and the service was excellent. Everyone was professional, kind, and made me feel comfortable throughout my visit. I highly recommend this office to anyone needing gastroenterology care.

Couldn’t be happier with services provided. I was scheduled for colonoscopy at 7:00am. I arrived at 6:30 and was taken back at 6:45. Out the door and on my way home by 8:15. Everyone I dealt with was polite and compassionate. Was told every step of the way what to expect. Dr. Eweje was superb. He met me as they rolled me in and told me what to expect. Then, stopped by afterwards to go over my results. Excellent facility. Highly recommend!

I called this morning to make an appointment and was told their office requires referrals. I pay an extremely high amount every month to Aetna to not require referrals due to the fact a primary does absolutely nothing and charges you $50. So because your doctors don't want to do the leg work to find a little medical history they require another doctor to do that. I pay literal thousands every month to have the access to specialists and not have to play the PCP game. If we all can't see how insurance and the doctors are ripping off the American people, everyone needs to wake up. I pay a premium to Aetna for a service and the doctors offices aren't upholding that. I couldn't find a better example of fraud if I tried. I have contacted the medical board and made a proper complaint thru insura
