East Bank Center

My mother was at this facility for a few months. She received some of the worst care possible! I will never let her back to this place. Some of the staff members were rude, always had an attitude. They would take 45 minutes to answer call lights, and to top it off they also gave her a broken call light remote so they wouldn't know she needed assistance at times. The admin never returned my call to discuss my mothers discharge. My mother also had a fall and they never contacted me. Needless to say, my mother left there worse than what she was when she went in. I do not recommend sending your family members to this place.

My mom has been at East Bank for over 4 weeks and I am amazed by the staff treatment, the rooms are cleaned and beds changed daily with outstanding service. The food is also great. Excellent communication from staff providing information to me sometimes multiple calls in a day and that is quality service! Thank you East Bank

I first got to know East Bank back 2013 when my developmentally disabled little sister first needed short-term rehab. I was absolutely blown away by the quality of her care and the genuine, loving atmosphere of the ENTIRE staff. Each time Angie needed rehab East Bank was the ONLY facility I would let care for her. Fast forward to 2021 and I had a work related injury that would require extensive rehabilitation. I chose East Bank as my facility and for the six weeks I was there received the very best care as well. Everyone from nursing staff to housekeeping made me feel like a guest at an upscale 5-star resort while I recovered with help of the highly skilled and enthusiastically caring rehab staff. OSF hospital sent a referral for my 91 yr old mom for rehab. She was denied they would not give the hospital a good reason. So the place must discriminate against older people. So they must not be able to give the proper care they are bragging about.

PT at east bank is excellent. However care wise it sucks. Some of the staff NA’s are very good as are the staff nurses. Any of the agency people need to take classes on how to treat people. I have been ignored and left to lay in my wet bed. They walk in and never say a word. They act like they hate the job and doing the work. Not fond of the food. You ask for something else to eat and get the opposite of whats ordered. The housekeepers are the best. They are helpful, friendly, and willing to help. I would have to think twice before coming back here again.
