Dyckman Pharmacy

Staff are very friendly & welcoming. It’s rather clean & organized. The downside of this pharmacy is that they are CLOSED on weekends & holidays which is a great inconvenience for all who work & are only able to pick up meds on weekends. For this reason I will changing this pharmacy to one that does service me on weekends.

I’ve been to Dyckman Pharmacy twice. My first visit was a great experience, the pharmacist was kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. Unfortunately, my second visit today was very different. I was trying to choose between saline sprays since I’ve never used them before. The young woman assisting me was initially polite. However, as we walked to the register, I changed my mind about the product and went back to switch it, and she signaled to security. A large security guard appeared near me, clearly meant to intimidate. To be profiled and treated with suspicion, especially by someone who is also a person of color, was deeply upsetting. Her actions reflected a blatant bias, and it turned what should’ve been a simple errand into a disheartening experience. I won’t be returning.

I just visited this pharmacy today and after I picked up everything I needed to buy and as I approached the checkout counter to pay but first to ask if what I picked up was covered by the OTC program which I know it was covered but maybe because I am Hispanic the girl first told me that I am not supposed to put my merchandise in my shopping cart because they don’t allow that ( what I think she or the other guy at the door should have told me after I walked the pharmacy for like 3 minutes) and then proceed to tell me that nothing from what I picked up was covered by OTC.. which I understand. But a good employee should have talked to me and let me know in a good manner what I m supposed to get from your pharmacy with my OTC card. I think she was a little rude and she just didn’t want me in y

Worst pharmacy ever! They never make your medications on time. On weekends it’s suppose to open at 10am but clearly they make their own hours to open. I’m in front of the door and they open only because they had a worker bringing merchandise and they are like 10:30am and it was 10:30am then they say 11am to come back. So unprofessional, don’t have any curtesy for people. Don’t waste your time with this place.

the pharmacy tech is extremely rude and thanks to her laziness I ended up having to make a call myself that they should have made when I had just gotten 3 molars removed... thanks to her negligence my wound is irritated and bleeding more than it should be 12 hours later
