We are incredibly grateful to have found Dr. Lupo and Dundee Animal Hospital of Elgin. Our sweet tripod needed to establish care in our new hometown and we were so lucky to have met Dr. Lupo and all the staff there. Unfortunately, our time was short, as we unexpectedly discovered our guy had cancer. But Dr. Lupo helped us keep him as comfortable as possible for over 6 months and even made sure he was the one to help us say goodbye, even though it was not a clinic day for him. Dr. Lupo treated Bruiser like family and had the best bedside manner. He delivered news in a straightforward way, but was extremely tender and caring. My fur babies have been patients at Dundee Animal Hospital for many years, specifically Dr. Larson. Everyone there is truly there because they love animals and want to provide the best care possible. They will always be my vet of choice!

Today we had the unfortunate experience of having to put down our precious Layla. She was almost 15 and it was time. I can’t thank Dr Larson and staff of how kind, caring and compassionate the staff was. No rushing us at all. The room was ours for as long as we needed. They made a difficult moment in our lives, just a bit easier. They made her up a delicious meal and even offered her chocolate. Thank you so much for making this difficult moment in our lives a little bit easier. RIP Sweet Layla you will be forever missed

Dundee animal hospital has been by far the best experience I’ve had at any vet. Dr Kelly Moderhack has gone above and beyond what ever seen veterinarian do. She has been kind, compassionate, extremely understanding of my financial situation and still provides the best care and comfort to my puppy. I must have called a few dozen times for advice on how to properly care for my puppy’s condition and pain and she always met me with grace patience and understanding. I would recommend this hospital and veterinarian to anyone and I will now entrust them with my four other beloved dachshunds. Thanks to them my puppy was properly diagnosed and treated with understanding to my financial limitations and working with me on my pay days and scheduling with appointments and medications. Dr. Lathrop is awesome! Bri is the sweetest person and I can tell she genuinely cares for my cats. I trust this office to treat my cats like their own! Highly recommend!
