Duke Urgent Care South

Very pleased with the care given to my son who was sick and unfortunately required 2 visits. Our first visit we encountered Pam who kindly triaged him and did his x-ray, Brayden, NP who was very caring and went above and beyond to try to make him comfortable along with Wendy and Dana, RN's who administered his medicines. Our second visit, Jalessa kindly and promptly checked us in to Wendy, RN got us triaged, started the IV and kept checking in on us, Pam who got to do another x-ray and Alex, such a competent, caring and professional provider, everyone was the ABSOLUTE BEST. We felt truly cared for and the compassion they had for my son was clearly displayed. Rock star team! Keep it up!

Dr.Tobin and Sara Wade were so great!!! Sara was very compassionate throughout my whole procedure. Dr.Tobin’s humor really helped lighten the mood during a very delicate procedure😅. I really appreciate them and the work they do!! Really great people!

I had a great experience at this urgent care. I made an appointment, which made the process easy, and NP Sara De Lima took excellent care of me. She was kind, attentive, and thorough. While there was a bit of a wait, it was completely understandable since patients with more urgent needs are seen first. The staff was professional, and I felt well cared for throughout my visit. I would definitely recommend this urgent care.

I don't know why this place has received such low ratings. It's well-located, clean, and there's good parking. I was greeted politely and seen on time. The people providing my care were professional, friendly, and kind. They listened to me and paid attention. They offered me options. They did a great job. Recommended.

Pretty disappointed, my insurance no longer covers UNC so I went to this Duke location because it’s so hard to get an appointment with my primary. Not only did I make an appointment and arrive early, but it was nearly an hour before I saw any provider. I initially saw what I’m assuming was a triage nurse and she said “your symptoms don’t fit into our algorithm so you’ll have to see someone else.” That was wild to me! Medical professionals just don’t care if you don’t fit into their perfect algorithms. I went in for a horrible productive cough that had been keeping me up at night despite trying multiple medications for days and just has not gotten any better after a week. They didn’t test me for anything and just slapped the “it’s just a virus” label on me. I wasn’t looking for a cure, ant
