Duke Primary Care Meadowmont

I was dropped as a patient because I did not need to be seen for more than 3 years. This is a duke policy. It is a disservice and health risk to patients who are fairly healthy and who believe that they have a primary care provider. In the event that i had an urgent need I would be faced with a sudden barrier to care. It is my wish that every person this happens to leaves a 1 star review until the policy changes and patients are better served and protected. If this happens to you as well please follow my lead. We can change this policy together through public pressure. Do better Duke.

Dr. Pendam is amazing. I wish more Dr.s were as caring and just "human" as she is. I have never felt more comfortable with a Dr.

Serena Zhou-Talbert is my primary care physician. I had to wait a while for an appointment, but glad I did! She is very kind, patient, and probably the best listener of any physician I've had. It's clear that she cares about finding out the right diagnosis for her patients and ruling out other potential diagnoses. Great care team here! The scheduling team is very pleasant as well.

I have been seeing Amy Krebs here for a few years and appreciate her and the entire staff, all warm, respectful people. Today, the phlebotomist I saw was especially wonderful, though I sadly didn't get her name.

Decided to switch my primary care over to Duke after going to UNC initially. Very happy with my first visit here! Friendly staff, the provider I saw (Kelli Tart) was wonderful, and a very convenient location. Labs were done the same day, quickly -- and results back within a day or so with helpful commentary from the provider.
