Duke Primary Care Henderson

I love the doctor. She is amazing. However the staff not so much. They have billed 3 times over a year a half late. Not even running it through my insurance AT ALL! I am furious at this point. You cannot reach anyone ever and I cannot even get a basic script done because of staff issues. In starting to think this office is running a scam. How many of those older people that go there don’t catch them not running it through insurance.

Great doctors and staff overall. My only complaint is how much of a pain it is to get a refill request through. I use MyChart to send them. I was told by one of the staff to submit a medication refill request about 48 hours before the 30 days of the medication was up. I did that and was denied because I asked for a refill too soon. I was not notified until the following day when I called them due to noticing that they refilled a different medication I didn’t ask for. I feel like at the very least I should’ve been contacted when they saw the refill request.

Visited here yesterday for the first time and the staff was very nice and courteous. I arrived 15 min early, as they requested and only waited about 5 minutes to be seen. I was seen by Amber Eberhart and she was amazing. She took the time to really listen to my concerns, was relatable, never felt like she was judging me for anything I told her and came up with a plan for each concern I had. My experience was 10/10.

I have not connect with any of the providers since Dr Robert. I remember very well there was a time they didn't have enough Doctors in this location. And when new doctors joined this office, I didn't get the care and good professional relationship with most of them. I one time left due to luck of a provider not listing to my need for care. It got bad that I had to walk out of the doctors office with the previous provider. I was seeing for over a year. I never really feels she cares enough. I stop seeing her and request to not to keep her as my family doctor. However, the front desk associates didn't respect my wish to make a record of it. I haven't been happy with Henderson Duke Primary Care for a long time now!

Brittany! 3/7/24 & 3/8/24 you made me feel heard, seen, safe, and helped keep me calm. I get super nervous with vital signs measurements and lab draws. I trusted you the first time based on our previous encounter during triage!! You get an A+. Seriously coming to do this has been a lifetime challenge for me and what I’m dealing with in life right now, to have this process and encounter go smooth and positive is A MUST AND BLESSING AND YOU MADE THIS POSSIBLE. Thank you NP WANA GULLEDGE My first encounter sets the stage and I am looking forward to many more positive , seen, heard, competent visits with you !! You were great.
