Duke Outpatient Clinic

I drove 40 minutes to this facility to see a primary care doctor. After waiting more than 50 minutes without being called, the front desk could not provide any explanation. I eventually had to leave, wasting both my appointment and the 80 minutes drive. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this healthcare facility.

As far as I know the clinic offers General Practitioners, GI and has a lab. It has 2 floors but it has an elevator. One thing ill say, I dont know why they have Security Guards that do nothing but talk on their phone???

Predatory billing practices. It’s always disheartening when you repeatedly ask for a certain type of care and are charged for something completely different. Only go here if you’re dying and have a lot of money.

Convenient parking, not too crowded. Lots better than the big hospitals.

Staff at the desk deserve a shout out for their good humor, kindness, and careful review of information. Insurance processing always risks getting complicated, so getting things arranged in the system up front really makes a difference. Reviewing all of the details took a few extra minutes, but it was completely worthwhile and done with a smile and a few kind words. I have to say, this is exactly what I think any of us would hope for. Healthcare can be a real pain - but staff like these make a huge difference. THANK YOU EVERYONE.
