Duke Neurology Morreene Road

My first experience at Duke Morrennee in 2024 went well as far as feeling resepected and heard even though I was wrongly misdiagnosed with IIH when IIH has nothing to do with what I’m still feeling on a daily basis for the past 4 years now. Dr. Vidwan dismissed it for IIH and a migraine headache and prescribed me injection medication for migraines (wth??). I know what a headache feels like, I’ve experienced headaches all my life and can take pain medicine for it and it will ease off. I then went back for a follow up with her (a total waste of a 2 /12 to 3 hour drive). She was very short with me and got aggravated with me when I told her again that I was NOT in any pain, but feel constant buzzing, pulsing, throbbing beating like a heartbeat, but it’s in my head. Completely lacking in compassion for their patients. This organization and its employees consistently prioritize profits and pomp over patient care, outcomes, or overall customer service. Never, ever go to Duke if you have a choice and value your health, time, finances, or sanity.

I was scheduled for an appointment in July but the provider's schedule was changed and they bumped it out another 3 months. Now I did all the test and can't get the results. What's the point of having an appointment if they just will not having it then? They didn't call me just a mychart message. When the appointment finally came they did not address my concern it was a waist of time and funds.

They don't give one shit about you there. I really liked my first doctor, but she left. I had a resident for one visit I really liked. But that is it. They don't listen. You make a complaint and they don't read your chart. They absolutely suck. I hate them. Update: I am out of my meds and my issues are getting worse. I had a scheduled appointment coming up. Today they called me to tell me they were canceling my appointment and get my prescription filled by my primary care physician. They have me absolutely no explanation at all. I'm sick of this place. I am done.

I appreciate the level of care I've received from Candace Moody, Amy Davis, and the support staff. Since coming here a few months ago I've had some favorable relief from service-related pain.
