Duke Health Primary Care Tall Oaks

I love Lake Norman Medical Group, especially Meredith Harkey. Moved to NC two years ago and started seeing Meredith shortly afterwards. I love the staff and I love her!! She is very thorough, friendly, and extremely kind. This is very important for someone that is a Type II diabetic. Patients that want to complain about prescriptions that won’t be refilled without a physical every 6 months should understand the requirements of their provider. This requirement is to protect the patient, as well as the provider, in case anything has changed. It definitely isn’t a reason to give this office a poor rating.

Regular check ups are fine but if you need a same day appointment forget about it. I get its not always possible but ive tried a few times over thr last few years and get turned away everytime.

UPDATE… JUST SPOKE WITH THE FRONT DESK MANAGER AND SHE LAUGHED AT ME!! LAUGHED!!! THE FRONT DESK STAFF IS THE WORST! I LOVE MY DOCTOR BUT I WILL HAVE TO FIND ANOTHER ONE BECAUSE OF THEM. THEY ARE ABSOLUTE WASTES OF OXYGEN!! DO NOT GO TO THIS BUSINESS OR YOU WILL BE TREATED LIKE THEY ARE ABOVE YOU!

I’ve been to this office for a little over a year and I see Kevin Vanhoy, PA. I’ve always felt uncomfortable at doctors offices but he knows how to explain and make you feel comfortable. I’ve recommended family member and they love him too! Any problem you have, he’ll listen to you!

This office abruptly discontinued my Duloxetine prescription which is stated online can cause extreme issues in patients, including things as bad as siezures. Im currently throwing up in a toilet withdrawaling from the medicine they prescribed, because of Tall Oaks Incompetence, a once great office, now turned sideways. To explain more. They called me Jan 2nd, to notify me two days before my prescription ran out, to tell me i wont be recieving my prescription until i visit for a physical. They said I must visit immediately, which i responded with "i cant afford to pay for a visit until March due to my business being shutdown til March, since i work in Lawn Care".
