I recently had fillings completed and it was a comfort to have such a highly skilled team perform this work. Dr. Jason carefully applied local anesthesia (numbing shots) without causing any pain and frequently checked to ensure I remained comfortable. He maintained a strong state of coordinated flow with his chairside dental assistant: advanced filling techniques were performed seamlessly, equipment was smoothly handed off, and the assistant precisely and carefully rinsed/cleared after every action. We recently moved to Durham and had to find a new dentist. We found Dr. Jason Slomovitz at Duke Forest Dental and are so glad we did. His office is bright, clean and modern. It was clear that Dr. Slomovitz was dedicated to using the most modern technology. In addition, his staff are friendly and very capable. I had to replace a front crown and he made sure that it perfectly matched in size and color to the front tooth next to it. It is a tremendous improvement over the previous crown. We've had two cleanings with Dr. Slomovitz and found them to be so comfortable and thorough. The fact that he uses warm water in the cleaning is a bonus! I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a new dentist.
